Flightless Motion
The sculpture depicts a bird caught in mid-flight, its form partially abstracted to evoke the tension between movement and stillness. Slightly unbalanced, the piece wobbles when touched, creating the illusion of motion, as if the bird might take off at any moment. This subtle instability transforms stillness into an active experience, inviting interaction. The work contemplates the fragile boundary between freedom and limitation, where even in stillness, movement feels imminent.
